KÖTTBULLAR was founded in Munich in 2022 (Alina - vocals, Viktor - guitar, Liliia - bass, Yarik - drums) and creates minimalist, melodic, and emotionally dense alternative music in which each song tells a small story about life, feelings, and everyday absurdities. Their catchy yet simple melodies come alive through unconventional, rhythmic, and technically skilled drum parts, while Alina's vocals range from gentle whispers to screams and ecstasy, conveying the full spectrum of joy, nostalgia, loneliness, anger, and vulnerability. With elements of pop, punk, and alternative rock, KÖTTBULLAR creates music that is both relaxed and energetic, inviting listeners to sing along and dance. The lyrics are honest, humorous, and sometimes absurd, allowing listeners to dive in deeply and empathize. Since their formation, the band has released several singles including Emily, Rooftop, Alone, Hello, and the latest release The Five Stages Of which together have reached hundreds of thousands of streams on Spotify.
